Ink curls add up in crooked words,
The meaning stays untouched,
Mistaken even, read all wrong.
It might take long, long time
Until her mind will collect
Uneven thoughts with blank design
And write a strict and cold one word,
One letter maybe, one big knot .
And when she’s left and left the white,
All white with little stripes of black,
We from above can only see the title of
Unnamed thing. Unnamed letter, nameless sigh.
The title says: “From US Force”
And something else, but we can’t see
And I suppose somebody’s son or
Husband’s buried, lost or gone…
And all in white, among the black
The lost one can’t be found soon.
